A NEW LEAF

Tea at Taschen embraces a change of season

Afternoon Tea isn’t just an old English tradition. On Sundays, The Joule’s Taschen Library hosts Tea at Taschen, a ceremony that surrounds you with mid-century mosaics and a curated selection of coffee-table and collector-worthy books. However, the gorgeous backdrop and glasses of bubbly aren’t what make this weekly event worthwhile.

Local favorite, The Cultured Cup, curates a three-course sipping menu of its teas that take you on an exotic journey. The teas are accompanied by a fall menu of sweet and savory bites—all imagined by The Joule’s culinary team and inspired by seasonal flavors. A sample menu (below) shares a glimpse of what to expect. However as options rotate, there will be a few surprises, too.

The culturally curious, foodie fanatics, and those hoping to snap something stunning for their Instagram feed should all take note. You’ll want to make your reservation quickly as seats for this popular event are snapped up quickly! —Lucas Buckles
