Pups, pet portraits, and pretzel treats

Anyone who’s bought a dog costume—taco, shark, bee, or lion—knows that one wear isn’t enough. Next Saturday, Wheelhouse is giving you another opportunity to take your poshly dressed pup out for a spin. Its hosting a Halloween-themed edition of BARK & BRUNCH, a dog-friendly dog-obsessed event on its outdoor covered patio, Center Court.

Color Barking will be hosting a pop-up studio, where all good dogs can get a free pet portrait. While human guests dine on chorizo chilaquiles and shrimp and grits, pups will get free sprinkled pretzels. And all pups who come in costume—sweet or spooky—can enter for a chance to win a $50 gift card.

The Details: Wheelhouse, 1617 Hi Line Drive. Saturday, October 27. 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Complimentary valet.
