BEER ME, BRO
Wheelhouse joins up with Community Beer Co.
For decades, oenophiles (wine lovers) got all the attention. Special tastings, paired courses, private clubs, classes… Several U.S. universities even started offering degrees in viticulture and industrial winemaking. But the dramatic rise of craft beer has leveled the playing field and brought a welcome wave of local breweries to Dallas.
Wheelhouse, the Design District’s stylish answer to a neighborhood pub, has supported local breweries with a strong roster on tap, including Four Corners, Peticolas, Rahr, and Noble Rey. This month, they’re doing something a little extra: partnering with Community Beer Co. for an inaugural Beer Feast.
Wheelhouse Chef Coner Seargeant and team will serve a multiple-course, family-style dinner alongside five seasonal and limited-release beers, progressing from the palest Oaked Mosaic IPA to the darkest Legion Russian Imperial Stout. Community’s brewers will be onsite, ensuring the night isn’t just a good time, but an educational one, too.
