1530 Main Presents…

A Clueless musical dinner theater extravaganza—or like, whatever

Movies That Should be Musicals started in Dallas with a simple premise. Well, actually the name explains it all. The small troupe, headed up by performer and drag star Brigham Mosley, takes beloved films and turns them into the dramatic cabaret spectaculars they were really meant to be. Cue the live music, dance, and whip-smart banter. They’ve jazzed up Practical Magic, hit the high notes for A League of Their Own, and now they’re taking on the ’90s cinematic masterpiece Clueless for a 1530 Main-hosted Galentine’s Day bash.

To see the debut, grab your best girlfriends and join us Wednesday, February 13 on the covered patio at Wheelhouse. (It has heaters, but bundle up just in case!) Alongside a limited dinner menu, you can enjoy Clueless-themed cocktails, such as “The Snob & A Half” and “The Way Harsh Tai”.

Seating is limited and in high-demand as Mosley has quite the devoted following. A 2013 Performing Beyond Limits resident at NYC’s The New Museum, he was named “Queer Local of the Year” by The Dallas Voice in 2016.  So basically, you’ll want to snag your spot ASAP.

General admission tickets are $15 and include a guaranteed seat (location on a first-come, first-serve basis). VIP tickets are $30 and include priority seating, plus a complimentary cocktail and swag bag.

The Details: Wheelhouse, 1617 Hi Line Drive. Wednesday, February 13. Doors 7:00 p.m.; show begins at 7:30 p.m. Complimentary valet. Click here to reserve your seat. Must be 21+ to purchase.
