Are you a good witch or a bad witch?

The minute you pull up in front of the lilac house nestled a block from Greenville Avenue, you’ll know you’re not in Kansas anymore.

The Labyrinth Metaphysical Herbal Apothecary is a decidedly “good witch” enterprise where incense permeates the air, a clan of cats lounges in patches of sun, and every corner is crammed with talismans, potions, herbs, candles, and stones touting magical properties. You’ll find rusty nails asserted to enhance protective spells, obscure herbs (Cats Claw or Jezebel Root, anybody?), and myriad potions to spice up your sex life.

Head witches Cerina Wrye and Unarei Saldana offer services like palm and tarot reading and healing—although Saldana is so booked, she’s not currently taking any new clients.

P.S. If this all sounds interesting, but a bit too witchy for your liking, you can head to Forty Five Ten and pick up a bottle of sage & salt Smokeless Smudge. It’s good vibes, no lizard tales.
