A four-course dinner celebrating a new Italian cookbook

Fans of Italian cooking won’t want to miss next week’s event at Sassetta. On Wednesday, November 13, the restaurant will host Rome-based food writer and author Katie Parla for a dinner celebrating her new cookbook, Food of the Italian South. The evening will feature a four-course, family-style dinner by Sassetta’s Executive Chef Nancy Santivanez inspired by recipes from the book. Optional wine pairings will be available. Throughout the dinner, the award-winning author will mingle with guests. And, as a special parting gift, each guest will leave with a signed copy of her cookbook.
