Like the Cool Kids

Where to have some fun with your little ones.

Chuck E. Cheese’s is a thing of the past. Instead of dropping the kids off at some dirty arcade, try out some cultured fun. Here’s a few ideas of where to start:

  • Disco Kids at It’ll Do. It’s never to early to introduce your kids to house music. These family-friendly events include a righteous dance party, plus VIP options if you’re looking to get super fancy. More information here.
  • First Saturdays at The Nasher. This free day of fun at the Sculpture Center includes crafts, kid-friendly tours of the art, a scavenger hunt, and more. More information here.
  • Kids in the Cliff. Grab a cup of coffee while your kiddos chill out and listen to Dallas celebs read them classic books like “Where the Wild Things Are” and “Harold and the Purple Crayon.” More information here.
  •  Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art. Once a month the modern museum stays open until midnight and celebrates with food trucks, tours, and more. More information here.
