Sam McCurdy’s Spring Fashion Picks

Budding fashion inspiration for warmer weather.

We have a serious girl crush on Sam McCurdy. The artist and TenOverSix stylist’s “snugs” are on the cover of our February/March issue, and inside you’ll find a feature on the Philly-native and why she’s made Dallas her creative haven.

McCurdy’s also known for her amazing sense of style—from olive green overalls to a fuffy white fur coat with an extra-tight top knot—Sam’s making waves in both the local fashion and style scenes.

Here’s what she’s loving for spring:

1. Denim by Ashley Rowe. “I love, love, love all of these pieces. Denim gets better with age; it really stands the test of time. Ashley Rowe’s pieces are so amazing and totally essential for spring travel and play.”

2. Maryam Nassir Zadeh‘s Penelope Sandal. “I love this sky blue color, especially paired with a light wash denim for a monochromatic look. Imagine an all denim look with these.”

3. Jumpsuits. “Anyone who knows me knows I love a good jumpsuit. This citron yellow piece by TOME transcends the idea of a jumpsuit by making it appropriate for evening, feminine, and exotic. (It looks like a dress, but it’s totally pants!) It’s a hybrid of a playsuit and an evening gown and I LOVE IT.”

Gigi Burris. “Her hats, facinators, headpieces—you name it, I’m obsessed with it. Burris preserves the old world trade of millinery  with current ideas, fresh materials, and a delicate hand.”
