January 6, 2019

Come thru, it’s lit.

Like most everyone else, we resolved to start 2019 off with positive vibes and good intentions. More creativity. Less stress. More fun with friends. Less complaining. More good wine. Less negativity. More girl power. This Friday we’re bringing all those things together by hosting a New Year New Vibes Happy Hour with our friend and local artist Shamsy.

Stop by Sassetta to join us for a free, DIY smudge stick workshop (burn it later to banish bad energy). Shop magical “shamstone” crystals and jewelry at the Shamsy pop-up. Plus, sip a complimentary glass of an Italian wine Sassetta’s wine director Siobhan Sindoni has picked especially for the occasion: Sartarelli Verdicchio. “Sartarelli is a family-run estate in the Marche region of Italy, which is most known for the white grape verdicchio,” she says.  “Sartarelli puts all of their focus on this local grape; it’s all they grow! Verdicchio translates to ‘little green one,’ named after the hints of green in the glass and notes of fresh herbs on the palate. The classic tasting notes are yellow apple, pear, fresh green herbs, almond skin, and white flower.” Salut to that!

The Details: Sassetta, 1617 Hi Line Drive. Friday, January 11 from 5–7 p.m. Free—bring your friends!
