Triple Threat: Marti Diro
From wearable art to next-level swimwear and a retail revolution, these three ladies are helping define Dallas style.
Marti Diro only recently moved to Dallas, but she’s already made her mark on the city’s fashion front. The style blogger founded her jewelry company, Foreign Collections, out of the desire for accessories that she couldn’t find in local shops. Inspired by the culture of her homeland of Ethiopia, Diro designs brass and leather pieces with an urban twist. She has a penchant for leather pendants and chokers in saturated tones, all designed and made in Texas, and brass, silver, and nickel cuffs that are authentically crafted in Ethiopia. Already a go-to for the city’s style set, Diro designs for those in search of statement pieces with soul.
