Free breakfast, chefs’ tastings, and a way to work it off
Start the day off right with breakfast at Sassetta: veggie frittata, roasted pear oatmeal, bagels with soppressata, toasted brioche… Oh, and we should mention it’s your last chance to get breakfast for free! The offer is exclusively for friends and family 1530 Main; all you have to do is snap a pic and share it.
Klyde Warren Park’s third-annual fundraiser Park & Palate starts Friday night with a seated dinner, but our favorite part comes the following day when the lawns fill with more than 30 chefs sampling their fare. (The Joule’s executive chef Junior Borges, Mirador’s chef Josh Sutcliff, and CBD Provisions’ Nick Walker are among the participating chefs.) There will also be wineries, breweries, and spirit tastings throughout the day. Come early—and hungry.
You can’t half-ass a workout when The Eye is watching! This Sunday and next, Vital Fitness Studio hosts a two-part Bootcamp at The Eye. The 60-minute total body workout includes HIIT, strength training, and yoga. Work hard so you can really enjoy the inevitable boozy brunch across the street.
The Details: 1530 Main street, across from The Joule. 11 a.m. (Gates open at 10:30 a.m.) $20 per class, included in monthly unlimited passes. BYO mat. Water and towels provided. Save your spot in advance.
