Weekend Highs

Fine fragrances, fine chocolate, fine frozé

The Le Labo exclusive city collection is an ode to the perfumer’s most loved cities. Each of the 11 scents captures the spirit of its destination: patchouli for Amsterdam, leather and vetiver for Dubai, vanilla and bergamot for Paris. Typically, the fragrances are only available in their home city—no online or phone orders. Period. But, for the month of September, Le Labo has made its exclusive city collection available to all. Stop by Forty Five Ten for a special tour while enjoying sips and bites inspired by the different cities.

The Dallas Chocolate Festival is a sweet tooth’s dream: chocolate fountains, popsicles, and bonbons from 60+ vendors—and attendees get to sample and shop them all. Chocolate makers and artisans from across the U.S. will be doing live demonstrations in the Whole Foods demo room.

The Details: Fashion Industry Gallery, 1807 Ross Avenue. 10–4 p.m. $35 online in advance, $40 at the door.

Not everyone’s a sports fan, but Sunday marks the Cowboy’s season-opening game versus the Giants. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Our recommended viewing spot is at Wheelhouse, where non-sports fan can sip frozé, have a poke bowl, and bite into one of the city’s best burgers.

The Details: Wheelhouse, 1617 Hi Line Drive.
