-National Beer Mile. Serious runners, serious drinkers, and a combination of the two will enjoy this one-mile fun run divided by four beer chugging stations. Obviously, this is a 21 and up event. The Details: Fair Park, 1121 1st Avenue. Tickets start at $35. 

-Black Gold Soul Club. DJ Jeff Paul and friends will be spinning up 45s of RnB, soul, funk, and more at Off the Record’s monthly jam that’s good for your soul and dancing shoes. The Details: 2716 Elm Street.

-ALL/EVERYTHING. Every Sunday night DJ John Stewart celebrates a different musical icon by dedicating an entire night to them. Tonight’s lineup? Biggie and Tupac. The Details: Club Dada, 2720 Elm Street, $5 cash entry.
