What to do this weekend

Time to escape the family obligations and have a little fun.


-Big K.R.I.T. The Mississippi rapper will be playing at one of our favorite venues, The Bomb Factory. Tickets here

-Peter Pan 360. If you need to escape from your house, we suggest taking a trip to Neverland. This magical show will be playing util December 13. Tickets there.

-Jackson Pollock. The newest exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, titled “Blind Spots” is dedicated to the late artist work made between 1947 and 1553, all of them in monochrome. More information here.


-Unbranded. Celebrate Small Business Saturday at this pop-up in downtown Dallas 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you’re looking for a little something something to get you in the shopping mood, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be libations offered as well. 1616 Commerce Street.

-Little D Holiday Market. More Small Business Saturday shopping fun. There will be food, clothing, and home wares vendors. Community Beer Company, 1530 Inspiration Drive, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

-Black Gold Soul Club at Off the Record. DJ Jeff Paul will be spinning 45s of R&B, soul, funk, and more. Get ready to dance. 2716 Elm Street.
