In search of the perfect gift but in a rush? Swing by Taschen Library at The Joule to peruse its shelves and pick out a coffee table book (or two). Request complimentary gift wrap and you’re on your way in no time flat. Guest of the hotel? They’ll even ship your purchases home for free.

BAKE SALE

Everyone morning we look forward to whatever fresh-baked deliciousness Weekend Coffee has in its pastry case, so naturally we’re thrilled to hear our favorite coffeeshop will be selling pies at Thanksgiving and cookies at Christmas. Proceeds will benefit Save the Children and its global mission to improve children’s lives around the world.

THIS THANKSGIVING

To celebrate the holiday, Sassetta is hosting a family-style Thanksgiving dinner with an Italian spirit. Gather your loved ones to enjoy a feast with a seasonal dishes, fine wines, and not a single dirty dish in sight.

ICED OUT

Who can resist a little icing art? This season, guests of The Joule can order a special in-room decorating kit complete with holiday cookies, icing, and sprinkles. Kits are available from Thanksgiving to Christmas and do not guarantee extra points from Santa (but couldn’t hurt).

TIME FOR TEA

Enjoy a rooftop view of downtown alongside an afternoon tea unlike any other in the city at Mirador, the destination across Main Street from The Joule. Head to the penthouse level atop Forty Five Ten for seasonal  sweets, savory bites, fine teas, fresh scones, and more. Advanced reservations recommended.

SHOPPING BREAK

Take a break from holiday shopping and head to CBD Provisions to enjoy happy hour with $5 draft beers, half-off speciality cocktails, food specials, and more. Daily, 4-6pm.
